"Autism and the Environment"

On tonight's show, hosts Patti and Doug Wood talk first with
Dr.
Irva Hertz-Picciotto, internationally-recognized researcher at the M.I.N.D. Institute at the University of California at Davis and a professor at UC Davis School of Medicine. Dr. Hertz-Piciotto describes some of the latest scientific research on possible environmental links to autism.

In the second half of the program, they talk with Peter Bell, Vice President for Programs and Services at Autism Speaks, about the organization's efforts on behalf of families affected by autism.
